Introduction

SPRINGTECH manufactures springs, clips and wire forms. All products are made either from a customer’s drawing, a sample or according to our own design, based on the specified functional requirements of the spring.

Situation

The company has been in the same premises since it was formed in 1980. It is well situated in Denver, close to the M2 access and central to all our delivery areas. We do most of our own deliveries, but use a delivery service for deliveries outside greater Johannesburg. Customers outside Gauteng are requested to use their own transport courier.

Personnel

Staff personnel comprises myself (P.B.HOLT.) as MD, General Manager (DAN VENTER) – both of us qualified Engineers, Production Assistant (DESMOND MANNING) plus our Bookkeeper (SHERINE) and our friendly and helpful Telephonist/Clerical assistant (KATIE).

Factory personnel comprises experienced and trained spring makers and assistants, Quality Control, Maintenance and despatch/delivery staff, many of whom have been with the company for over 15 years.
